Since 1983, the family-run DT Holding GmbH, headquartered in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen near Karlsruhe in Germany, has been specializing in the development and supply of decorative parts, such as nameplates, badges, and emblems, as well as (electro-)mechanical parts for customers in the automotive, appliance, technology, music, optical, and medical device industry. The DT Group consists of three companies – DT Metronic GmbH, Decor-Technik GmbH, and DT metronic, Inc.

• 1983 – Founding of the company Decor-Technik DT Vertrieb GmbH in Germany by the Klein family
• 2002 – Takeover of the management by Rolf Klausmann
• 2003 – Quality Management Certification according to DIN ISO 9001:2000
• 2014 – International expansion of the Decor-Technik Group: Founding of DT metronic, Inc. in Illinois, USA
• 2023 – The Decor-Technik Group’s 40th Anniversary
